Food was amazing and very authentic (I’ve been to China). Our server, Victor, made the whole experience even better — he was attentive and really enhanced the experience. We never felt like just another tourist couple in Vegas. Highly recommend Genting Palace, the Peking Duck (Make sure you ask to have the soup made) and definitely ask for Victor!
Very tasty food and friendly servers. Please come visit here …. Nice place ..they serve Peking duck. Step into old-world glamour at Genting Palace, a culinary gem that offers an exquisite menu of authentic Chinese cuisine. The menu provides abundant seafood, rice, and noodle dishes.
Solid 4 stars all around. Why not 5? It is a bit small and limited. Compared to Wynn and Bacchanal (yeah it's not fair but that is the benchmark, right?) for not too different a price gets you maybe 5-7 times as many options. That's a big difference. Wicked Spoon is a little cheaper and has maybe 4-5x as many options. Hard to find an angle where this spot is the better decision for price or for quality. It meets a decent standard for both but falls behind Wicked Spoon for value clearly falls behind the other big two for sheer variety. If it was maybe $15 cheaper than it is, which would bring you around $52, it would feel more reasonable. Until then, it feels about a full section shy of it's price tag. Some desserts are included but not pictured. Good little tart cakes, soft drinks including green tea as well. I want to come back but it feels more expensive than it should be. Not bad, but not 5 stars. However, a little too nice to be 3. Just to be clear: Yes, the one picture of the food section for buffet is the only section for buffet. There are no more areas, that is it. I've seen Indian buffets for $15-25 with 3x as many options and for what seems like comparable quality. Yeah, lobster and crab is more expensive but overall quality, not necessarily a lot higher.
This is a high-end restaurant. I made a reservation online, and a server called me back to gently remind me about the dress code. We chose their all-you-can-eat (AYCE) option. While the selection isn’t large, every dish is delicious, flavorful, and high quality. They offered lobster, snow crab, Peking duck, scallops, premium shrimp and pork siu mai (燒賣), har gow (蝦餃), and about 20 other items. Every item we tried was excellent. Drinks and desserts are also unlimited. We had the tapioca coconut pudding and the blueberry mocha tart—both were very good. The only disappointment was the limited variety. If they offered a few more items, I would have rated it 5 stars.
not sure why the poor rating. my experience was beyond the moon. 70$ for the buffet, unlimited Peking duck, lobster and snow crab. best deal IMHO although folks may feel that the selection is small. cocktail shrimp was tender and tasty, crab was tasty and not overly salted. get the drunk package. I meant drink package lol. worth the 40$
Came to Genting Palace seafood buffet for the second time in two months and it continues to impress. While the variety does not compare to buffets like Bacchanal or Wynn the quality here is top notch. The selection is well thought out. For seafood lovers there are fresh oysters, jumbo cocktail shrimp, crab legs, mussels, clams and lobster. For meat lovers there is Chinese braised brisket, roast pork and the highlight : Peking Duck. To our knowledge no other Vegas buffet serves it and the quality is equivalent to Mott32 with all the accompaniments. Service is impeccable and reminds me of the customer service in Asia. Our server this time was Jennifer and she was attentive and checked in often without interrupting our meal. If you want an elevated buffet experience with high quality Chinese dining and excellent service Genting Palace is highly recommended.
Came on a Friday night for the Seafood Dinner Buffet, and I loved it! I understand that they do have a limited selection of items for a Las Vegas buffet. HOWEVER, if you know, you know. All the dishes the offer are very high quality like the Peking Duck is TO DIE FOR, SOOO GOOD. The seafood is also super fresh, which...a lot of buffets lack. If you know your Chinese food, then you will know that $70 for AYCE Peking Duck and the variety of lobster, crab and oyster is actually such a deal. So, it is a more niche buffet for people who like Chinese food but it is totally worth it, and the service is AMAZING!
Our servers name was Jennifer. She made our whole dinner with her helpfulness and pleasant humor. Minor hiccups with the food. I had the tasting menu over all it was good.
